By Road

Turn off at J36 off the M6, signposted to Kendal and South Lakes. Follow the dual carriageway for approx 8 miles. At the roundabout go straight across (2nd exit) and follow the signs to Windermere on the A591. When entering Windermere (The Windermere hotel will be on your right) take the second turning on the left off the main road (just after the NatWest bank). The entrance to the Car Park will then be on your left after 50 metres (There is a huge copper beech tree outide the hotel).

By Rail
Guests arrive at Windermere Station, which is a two minute walk from the hotel. Turn left out of the station (keeping to the left). Walk past the tourist information centre and on the bend look directly across the road and the entrance to the hotel will be directly ahead of you on the other side of the road. Please walk a little further down the road to cross as it can be a little dangerous on the corner.
